First of all this week I need to say, 'THANK YOU'

The world is such a tiny place in bloggy-land!

.... oh my goodness...
- I have 3 children (1 girl and 2 boys), and 2 step-daughters... all of whom I love VERY much!
- My husband works away from home and I MISS HIM!
- I have a dog called Fred who is my constant companion...THANKS FRED!
- I run a little online yarn shop from my home which I LOVE - My Grandmother and my Mum both owned and ran shops... My Grandmother ran a general grocers, my Mum ran a sweet shop and cream tea restaurant. We have photos of them both by their shops doors... and a picture of me with my laptop !
- I used to be a children's (Paediatric) Physiotherapist...and miss the work (and the children) very much.
- I have been crocheting since I was about 7, and am still addicted - I hope I never have to stop... I shall decorate heaven with crochet if I get there.
- I love travelling but hate leaving home :)

Six beautifully crocheted squares!
The pattern Anna used was Square number 55,
'Centred Square' from the book '200 Crochet Blocks'
by Jan Eaton.
Each square measures 14cm x 14cm
Anna has used Panda Cotton 8 ply yarn for all
6 squares.
The base of all the squares is deep ecru colour...
With combinations of pale pink, mint green
and lemon yellow...

ReplyDeleteMy husband and I were seperated too for a while, he lived in Irland and I had to stay in Germany for 6 more month until I could follow him, it was a horrible time for me, so I feel very sorry for you!
Now, I will go and write on my post again!

Your holiday looks lovely what wonderful photos of the yarn shop I agree it does make sense to sell yarn that way but I do like browsing with all the skiens. I'm so glad to see Esme Rudy's squares she is such a talented lady her crochet inspires me every day. I love that you have a photo of you with your lab top and your mum and grandma with their shops oh how times have changed :)

Thank you Jill for giving me the award. I never thought that when I started my blog that I would have people from around the world following it. It was mainly a way for me to have a record of all the things that I have made for people who are important in my life. And thank you for the wonderful job that you are doing in organising the BBB 12:)
