Can you just pretend it is still Tuesday please? I'm late for the One-a-Day Tuesday Tallies at Gingerbread Girl's blog... do you think she will notice? I have just sneaked this awful photo before I go to bed...
8 more little squares for the blanket takes me up to a total of 76 now. The original pattern calls for 64, but this is going to be a mega-version...
Pop over to Carole's blog and see how the rest of the One-a-Dayers are getting along... and be prepared to swoon at Carole's own project...
Night night ladies x
I'm quite sure it is still Tuesday somewhere in the world! Lovely squares, blanket is going to look fantastic
ReplyDeleteNevermind I did my post on Wednesday and just ignored the fact it wasnt Tuesday. I love this design, and you are making great progress still!!
ReplyDeleteAnd my post says I did it on Monday but I was going on Australian time. So we're all ok... ;o)
ReplyDeleteLove your squares. That blanket's going to look so posh!
Some weeks just sneak up on you! Those squares look great, your blanket will be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteWell done for squeezing in, I did exactly the same a couple of weeks ago. Your squares are looking great.

Your squares look so neat compared to mine. I think I'm goin to begin the edge tonight if I get some peace! I do like this project and I reckon it will be gorgeous made really big as your daughter is demanding! Must admit, I'll be sorry to stop this one as I've really enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteBetter late than never :-) your making fab progress.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your lovely comment about my Blue Stripes ~ maybe I should try and do a couple of Stripes each day that way my blanket will not stay like a scarf for much longer! I love the wellies in the Joules catalogue ~ the only problem is choosing from all the lovely designs :O)x
ReplyDeleteThose squares are lovely - the blanket will be beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the encouragement on my socks - and honestly, have a go with the DPNs: I'd never used them before, and the first row is a bit tricky when you first start, but it's not nearly as hard as it looks, honest! And also I hate doing that mattress stitch thing to join flat work, so it's great doing it seamless!

Oh your squares are so beautiful and neat!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my crochet contest. Every crocheter can participate, but the number of participants is small. Of course I do not mind if you reblog, I think it is sweet of you to ask :)

wow! you've made a lot of squares! I can't wait to see it finished :)
ReplyDeleteThe Cross Stitcher I used for my cross stitch is Issue 244, Christmas 2011. The bumper kits with it is 3 house ornaments :) I was out yesterday and it's still the issue the stores have out here, so you could probably still get it.
I keep finding myself at Wednesday too! Lovely squares, Judy x
ReplyDeleteLove your squares, they look wonderful! Have a great week! Barbina
ReplyDeleteGorgeous squares I keep saying it about these squares but they just scream elegance to me they are the cream of the crop of crochet squares, I think ;) xx
ReplyDeleteYou mean it ISN'T Tuesday? Ppft!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful creamy pure goodness! I first loved (and faved) this pattern in the colourful Noro version on Ravelry but the more I see the single-colour versions, the more I love them.
